Sausage and Cabbage

Today for #RecipesForThePeople, my daughter Carlota is making the dinner - “Italian sausage with cabbage” - and it’s not because I’m her father but I think she does pretty well... maybe I should be worried about my job!! We are dedicating this one to all the teachers out there, who are everyday doing really an amazing job to be teaching every single student online… you deserve EVERYTHING you want … thank you for the amazing work you do. And we are singing to my brothers from Maryland @ofarevolution song Shattered!

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Sausages
Onion
Garlic
Cabbage
Sesame Seeds
Paprika
Olive Oil

THE RECIPE

For this one you’ll need some sausages (any kind … hot dogs even), onion, garlic, cabbage, sesame seed and paprika. Start with oil in the pan (I hear you people.... it is a CASTEY pan from Spain), and lots of garlic (peeled or unpeeled … you make a decision if you want your garlic naked) and chopped onion .. add the sausage and sauté so it’s browned on all sides, and add some spices … pimentón, salt, anything old in your pantry that you want to get rid off.

Add the cabbage and keep stirring, then add some sesame seeds if you have them. Saute until the sausage is cooked, and then at the end add some wine, (or some white wine, beer, gin … whatever you are drinking!! … write your own recipe people!!) and serve it hot!
