Sesame & Sea Salt Tortas with Piquillo Peppers & Tuna

This savory dish brings smoky piquillo peppers and tender white tuna together with the delicate crunch of Ines Rosales’ Sesame and Sea Salt Torta. Products from José Andrés Foods and Ines Rosales are available online at La Tienda.

INGREDIENTS

4 Ines Rosales Sesame and Sea Salt Tortas

1 Jar of José Andrés Sweet Piquillo Pepper Confit

1 (4.4-ounce) Jar of José Andrés White Tuna in Olive Oil
José Andrés Extra Virgin Olive Oil—we recommend Picual
Sea salt, to taste

8 small black olives, for garnish

DIRECTIONS

Slice peppers into thin strips, and shred tuna into small pieces. Place tortas on a serving plate, and put thin slices of piquillo pepper con t over each torta. Sprinkle the shredded tuna on top of the piquillo pepper con t. Top each with a drizzle of olive oil and a pinch of sea salt. Top with small black olives and serve.
