The Return of Truffle Festival

Truffle Festival 2020 is here! Most of ThinkFoodGroup’s restaurants are featuring these incredible and rare fungi, which are harvested only in the winter. Our truffles, which come from the Spanish city of Teruel, are highly prized for their powerful and savory aroma. They have a very short period of maximum potency from the moment they’re found, which makes freshness an all-important factor. Luckily one of José’s good friends, Nacho Ramirez Monfort of Saffron and Truffle, works with a team of trained dogs to find truffles at their very best and then flies them to our restaurants within 24 hours from the moment that they’re dug up – the very pinnacle of freshness!

We are excited to bring these heady, aromatic truffles to our restaurants from January 30, 2020 through early February. Enjoy special dishes with wine pairings at D.C.-area and Las Vegas Jaleo locations, as well as at Oyamel, Zaytinya, China Chilcano and America Eats Tavern. We’ll also have a special truffle dinner at Jaleo at Disney Springs. Come join us for some of our favorite truffle dishes, including Jaleo’s pan de cristal with truffle; Zaytinya’s Truffle pide; Oyamel’s Tortita de papas con Trufa; China Chilcano’s Tuna Tiradito con Trufa, and America Eats Tavern’s Mac & Cheese with Black Truffle. Mercado Little Spain in New York will host its Truffle Festival beginning on February 13, featuring a number of special dishes including huevos estrellados con trufa, canelones de foie y trufa, pulpo con patata trufada, paella valenciana trufada and more.
