Mexico Earthquake Relief at Oyamel

September 2017

José Andrés, World Central Kitchen and the Oyamel team ask you to join them in raising money to help support the massive recovery efforts in Mexico following last Tuesday’s devastating earthquake. We’ve partnered with The Raben Group, The Hispanic Heritage Foundation, MXDC, The Embassy of Mexico, Georgetown University Graduate Association of Mexican Students and LatinVIP to host a fundraising event for Mexican Red Cross on Tuesday, September 26.

Come to the Butterfly Bar from 3:30-6:30 PM for a suggested donation of $15 and enjoy complimentary bites and specially-priced drinks. We will also be offering two specialty cocktails with 50% of the proceeds going to the relief efforts plus a $50 Queso Fundido with all proceeds going to the relief efforts. If you can’t join us Tuesday, we will also be accepting donations on the the bottom of our receipts through October 1st.

We thank you, our DC community, for continuing to support those in need here and across the world. The fundraiser will be hosted by José Andrés, Ambassador Gerónimo Gutiérrez, Chef Pati Jinich, José Antonio Tijerino, Ambassador Jorge Guajardo, Ambassador Arturo Sarukhán and World Central Kitchen’s Brian MacNai.
