Spain’s Culinary Secrets Can Be Yours, At Jaleo

April 2016

What’s more Spanish than paella? The saffron, the giant pan, and of course, the perfectly prepared rice.

For José’s DC-area fans, Jaleo Bethesda is once again hosting classes designed to teach home cooks about Spain’s iconic dish. In each class, Head Chef Robbie Meltzer teaches basic knife skills and then dives into traditional Spanish techniques. Curious about the tips and tricks José shares with his chefs? Chef Robbie dishes a few of them out as well, along with other stories that capture Spain’s rich cooking traditions. Each experience ends in Jaleo Bethesda’s dining room and includes a selection of tapas, the paella you cooked in class, dessert, and a glass of wine and sangria.

Please email or call 301.913.0003 for more information or to sign up.  And paella is only the beginning— stay tuned for more details about future Spanish cooking classes.

Class Dates: May 10, 7 PM
