Opening Soon In José’s World

April 2016

There’s always something new on the menu for José and for ThinkFoodGroup. And 2016 is certainly no exception. Coming this year will be three new full-service restaurants as well as, at last count, three new Beefsteak fast-casual locations.

Opening this fall, Fish by José Andrés will celebrate the best of Maryland and the Chesapeake Bay Watershed. This spectacular restaurant will overlook the Potomac from the “prow” of the new MGM National Harbor. Guests can expect dishes that incorporate international cooking techniques that have been practiced for centuries, whether it’s tempura shrimp inspired by the Tsujiki Market in Tokyo or calçots wrapped in newspaper fresh off the grill like you’d find in Barcelona’s Boqueria Market. In warmer months, the casual outdoor patio will be the place to enjoy an authentic Maryland crab boil.

José will also open two restaurants that are new takes on his popular concept, The Bazaar by José Andrés, in collaboration with SLS Hotels. This summer, Bazaar Mar will open at the luxurious SLS Hotel & Residences Brickell in Miami, marking José’s second concept in that city. Following that, in late fall 2016, José will bring yet another version of The Bazaar to the new SLS New York, opening his first restaurant in the first American city he called home.

Meanwhile, Beefsteak will be unleashing its veggies in new locations. In April, Tenleytown in Washington DC opens, followed closely by Maryland’s Montgomery Mall and the University of Pennsylvania, in Philadelphia.

Stay tuned for more announcements and details.
