Dine-N-Dash Celebrates Puerto Rico

May 2018

30 amazing restaurants in two neighborhoods. Food and drinks from DC's best chefs and bartenders. A restaurant crawl like you've never seen before. And a once-a-year opportunity to hang out with Chef José Andrés, Andrew Zimmern, and other special guests. This is Dine-N-Dash, one of DC's most exciting nights out, when restaurants all around DC open their doors for a night of food, drinks, and fun, all in support of the work of World Central Kitchen.

This year, to celebrate the amazing chefs and volunteers who played a central role in the #ChefsForPuertoRico relief efforts, Puerto Rican restaurants and food trucks will be represented at the event at the first-ever Puerto Rico House: José Enrique, the James Beard-recognized chef from Santurce; Yareli Manning from Pa'l Pita, a San Juan food truck specializing in falafel and wraps; Wilo Benet of the celebrated fusion restaurant Pikayo; and Xiomar Manning from Yummy Dumplings, a food truck serving dumplings and Korean tacos. Puerto Rico House will be open to VIP guests at the beginning of the evening with José and Andrew Zimmern, and to all Dine-N-Dash attendees for the rest of the night. The menu will feature Puerto Rican favorites like classic stew Sancocho, the iconic #ChefsForPuertoRico Puerto Rican Paella, and a Puerto Rican rum tasting!
