Miami Devours Jose’s Paella By The Pool At South Beach Wine & Food Festival

José hosted a sold-out Paella and Tapas by the Pool Party at the 15th annual South Beach Wine & Food Festival in Miami. And by all accounts, it was a delectable time. Guests feasted on duck confit paella with morel mushrooms, foie gras and duck tongue. The dish was inspired by José’s friend, Chef Jean-Louis Palladin.

Asked about how Miami inspires him, José told NBC News that Florida “is the first place where a Spaniard came from old Europe and found a new world full of opportunity.”

The paella was just for starters. José is set to perform a kitchen demo at the festival’s KitchenAid Green Stage on Sunday February 28th.
