José Awarded the 2011 Innovation Award by UCLA Extension Restaurant Industry Conference

A highlight of the UCLA Extension Restaurant Industry Conference will be the presentation of the 2011 Innovation Award to José Andrés, chef and owner of the ThinkFoodGroup and also a Top Chef finalist in this year’s James Beard Foundation awards.  ThinkFoodGroup operates numerous restaurant concepts, including Jaleo, Café Atlántico, minibar by José Andrés, and Los Angeles’ celebrated destination in the exclusive SLS Hotel, The Bazaar by José Andrés.  Andrés will accept the award from last year’s winner, Kerry Kramp, President and CEO of Sizzler USA, Inc.
